Mike is also the founder of the Love from Margot Foundation, which he started in 2012 in honor of his late wife, Margot Murphy, who battled advanced cancer courageously for 9 years before she passed away in 2011. The foundation supports under insured and low-income women suffering from advanced cancer with emergency funds, education, and resources direly needed in their efforts towards healing and recovery.

Born in Medellín – Colombia, graduated as an Attorney with a master degree and with more than 8 years in law career, after she met her husband Mike and became aware of his vision, she realized that being an attorney had served many by then but now it was time to continue in a new manner. She became certified as a Health Coach from the Institute of Integrative Nutrition (IIN) in New York and a Fitness Trainer at Steel Mace and Body Blueprint. She continues to expand her knowledge on the integrative medical field with studies like blood work analysis Biowell among others in order to better support people who are looking for more integrative solutions to their health conditions, whether as prevention or supporting treatments.
Health is her passion and helping others, including animals, her dream. That is why she is supporting Mike in his dream of creating the best retreat center in the world.

Chris Whitcoe is passionate about the awakening of consciousness, raw food nutrition and the emergence of Corporate America as a vehicle for global change. In service to this overarching holistic vision he has created a diversified life in which he integrates his passions with the largest impact possible.
In 2005, Chris took a hiatus from a successful corporate life to fully embrace his love for the raw food/consciousness movement by pursuing a Masters Degree in Live Food Nutrition under Gabriel Cousens, M.D. at the Tree of Life Rejuvenation Center. Chris also dedicates his abundant raw energy and expertise as an advanced software engineer to Corporate Consulting, LLC, his company dedicated to creating advanced technical solutions and premier internet presence for his clients.

Maria Camila Henao, was born in Medellín Colombia, graduated as a general physician from the medical school of CES University, in Medellín Colombia, currently a fellow of the AIHM (Academy of Integrative Health and Medicine) program in the US, and also part of the Program in Homotoxicology and Bioregulatory Medicine at the University of Rosario, Bogotá, Colombia.
Camila brings the science, medical and integrative approach to the team blend with the softness at heart and continual learning passion to find ways to support a person’s healing journey which she recognizes involves spirit, mind and body.
She is a lover of yoga, meditation and relaxation techniques. Every day improving so she can offer the best to her patients.
Laura Builes is the Hotel Manager at Mountains of Hope. With more than 15 years of experience in the Hospitality Field, she joins our team to empower the staff through every department such as Housekeeping, reception and Food and Beverage. And even beyond this, Laura is passionate to create an experience for people that supports their desire and commitment to heal in an environment that will support that.
As a Manager in Hotels like Accor, OxoHotel, and other Colombian chains, she learned leadership to successfully assist teams during pre-openings and openings of hotels.
Her enthusiasm to learn about the spiritual awareness and her success in her career, makes Laura a great fit for our team.
Juan Carlos Labrador is the Addiction Counselor at Mountains of Hope. Understanding addiction as something that takes control over us and taking people into a journey to identify reasons, associations and ways to heal and overcome those, Juan brings his own experience and passion to serve people into the mix of the multidisciplinary team at Mountains of Hope.
Born in Panamá, Juan used to come to Medellin in the 90s as a flight attendant believing that was his dream, yet realizing there was an emptiness in him that did not let him enjoy those small simple things in life. Due to some own experiences to overcome addiction Juan found his calling at helping people in the same journey by getting Certified as an Addiction Counselor at Wilfred Laurier University, Canada.
